Adventure Travel - North Carolina

Adventure travel into the smokey Southern Appalachian Mountains, hike along the Appalachian trail, play on the beach, view the wild flowers and discover geological wonders in the caverns. North Carolina will be awe inspiring, take you back in time and give you special memories that will have you traveling back time and time again.

Traveling Outer Banks Scenic Byway you adventure by car and can see the two nature refuges. There you will see the sand dunes that protect the coast with abundant wild life including sea turtles and many endangered species of birds. Jump on a ferry and take it to any of the small islands along the coast where people still are living off the ocean and get a more rounded view of the area.

If you want to just lay in the sun, play in the ocean or enjoy a little shore fishing Nags Head Beach offers access directly to sandy beaches and fun in the sun. You can rent a kayak and head out into the waves if your feeling adventurous.<<more>>
